From New Zealand to Finland:
Comodo Apartments - Paul's choice for his long-distance family visit
Some people experience black swan events (sudden renovations) which lead them to searching for temporary accommodation and staying in one of Comodo’s many apartments. Others live abroad and have family in Finland and end up staying with Comodo to visit them, like Paul for example, who lives on the other side of the world in New Zealand with his partner.
“It’s pretty crazy how two sons have ended up in Finland..” Paul writes, “the youngest son lives in Queenstown New Zealand,” he adds. Paul and his wife (now deceased) visited Finland three times previously, usually staying in Airbnbs, a hotel or with family. However, this time, one of his son’s wives who had a business relationship with Comodo, recommended something new; that Paul and his partner stay at a Comodo apartment. Even though Paul and his partner would usually do short trips and mix their itinerary with visiting other countries, they booked a reservation with Comodo for 25 days. “Luggage and convenience,” he states, were the deciding factor on the length.
They stayed in Fredrikinkatu, Töölö, 150 meters from “The Rock Church”, one of many tourist attractions here in Helsinki. They chose the perfect spot- a good area and an excellent location with great public transport access (trams and buses within walking distance) to take them to wherever they might want to go. They could easily get to Kamppi or the railway station. They could also easily walk around Töölönlahti lake, in the heart of Helsinki as well as to other major districts such as; Kallio, Eira & Punavuori, from where they could enjoy popular places such as Löyly and Cafe Ursula.
“Comodo was excellent with its communication when we required a few extra things for the apartment,” he recalls. As for the apartment, it was clean, secure and in a great location. Later in the interview he praises Comodo once more for their exemplary communication and states this would be one of the many reasons he recommends Comodo to others. Furthermore, both the quality of their apartments and their well thought out locations are stand out factors for why others should consider staying at a Comodo apartment. “When people travel a long way from home, they want confidence in where they are staying.. And to know if they have a problem there is someone close at hand to listen. That’s Comodo!” he says.
When asked whether Paul would choose to stay at Comodo again over an Airbnb, hotel or with family, he replied, “for sure!”. So whether it’s a temporary home during a renovation or a place to call home whilst visiting family abroad, if Paul’s story is anything to go by– you can absolutely rely on Comodo!
